Euphrasie Barbier was a nun that took a risk, determined to go to other countries and set up missionaries and preach the word of god. She had a strong faith with god and a lot of courage.

Euphrasie Barbier, founder of the mission sisters died in January 18th 1893 of old age.

Euphrasie Barbier  had a positive attitude even when people said she can’t do something, she never gave up. She was determined to create an order and help people around the world. She was a good role model for future mission sisters.

Euphrasie Barbier had a lot of courage to go to other countries and send her Sisters to places to help woman and young girls. In some of these places there was hardship and even war. Often their homes were destroyed. She helped the sick and the poor that were treated badly. Euphrasie Barbier had a very strong faith in God.

These actions demonstrate her courage faith and love for other people around the world that are homeless, sick and poor. Her dad made her a mission sister because her father went overseas helping people. When her dad told her that story that's what made her want to be a Mission Sister.
